We are required to ask for a broad set of permissions so we can help users build documentation with screenshots of user activity. We encrypt all data at rest and in transit and have highly restricted access to user data for Tango personnel (only certain engineering members can access log files for debugging purposes).

Additionally, we are taking privacy-first initiatives wherever we can. For instance, we never capture keystrokes or text in any password fields. We're constantly looking for opportunities to undergo security and privacy focused initiatives and will provide more user facing features over time.

Ultimately, we can't control everything a user may decide to capture. Rest assured, we want nothing to do with personal data and ask for browser permissions only to provide our service. As a business, Tango makes money selling paid versions of our offerings and will never look to sell any personal user data at any point in the future.
