My Desktop app isn't working

Have you updated to the most recent Desktop version?

Tango recently released a new version of its Desktop app which contains a fresh new UI, multiple bugfixes, and stability and security improvements. To ensure the best experience for our users moving forward, we are deprecating old versions that may contain bugs.

As of January 30, 2024, we no longer support versions of the Desktop app under v1.1.1.
- If you are on a version less than 1.0.0, please re-install the Desktop app using the link below.
- If you are on a version between 1.0.0 and 1.1.1, you can either click the "Update" button or quit and re-open the app to install the latest version.


How do I check that I am on the latest version of the Desktop app?

The latest version of the desktop app says "Up to date" and has a green checkmark. If you do not see this, please update your desktop app using the instructions above.

Logged In
Click on the Settings gear in the Desktop app. The latest version says "Up to date" in green, as shown below.


Logged Out

Look for the green "Up to date" message, as shown below.


Please note, you need to be a Tango Pro user in order to download and use the Tango Desktop app.
