How-to: Capture a workflow
1. Navigate to the tab where you'd like to start and click on the Tango extension
You can do this on any site on the web. If you don't see the Tango icon in your extension toolbar, make sure to pin it!
2. Click the big purple button in the middle to start capturing your workflow
3. Your capture has now started ✨
Tango captures screenshots and autogenerates descriptions. Unlike a screen recording, our workflows are a highlight reel of the actions you perform. Straight-to-the-point.
Notice your workflow controller in the bottom-left corner. You can use it to (in order):
Complete your workflow
Pause your workflow
Restart your workflow
Interactively blur elements for a more private capture experience (Live Blur)
Move the controller to the other side of the window
Delete your workflow
4. Now perform a series of actions in the browser.
Go on :) Test it out!
Tango will highlight each element you interact with for crystal-clear how-to screenshots.
5. Want to change the color of the screenshot highlight?
Tango Pro users can select a custom screenshot highlight color to match their brand or preferences. Here, we chose pink instead of Tango Orange.
6. Once you're finished, click the green ✅ to complete your workflow
This will navigate you to our web editor to instantly review your workflow.
7. From the editor, feel free to make any changes or add more context
You can add text, create or delete steps, upload screenshots, or rearrange steps. We give you the tools you need to quickly and accurately share necessary context with your teammates.
Want to hide sensitive information that you forgot to use Live Blur mode on? Use our image editor to add additional blurred sections to your screenshots.
8. Now let's share it with a teammate
Hit the Share & Export
button in the top right corner. You can share workflows via a link or via email.
Tango Pro users can add additional collaborators with edit permissions.
Don't worry, we don't let search engines index your workflows. Your workflows are only accessible to those with the link. You can also restrict your links to only users who have been invited by email with the Share
button.
