With the Tango Chrome Extension, Tango is capable of capturing actions across any website or web application open in your browser (Tango currently supports Chrome and Chromium browsers). This includes - but is not limited to - clicking on buttons, typing in text fields, completing multiple-choice surveys, and navigating between pages. Tango will then automatically translate a user's actions into step-by-step instructions to be used in a number of formats.

Within your browser, there are only a handful of technologies and sites where Tango will not function or will be less precise than normal:

  • Browser settings pages

  • Iframes or interactive canvas apps

    • Document areas of Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets

    • Real-time collaboration apps like Figma and Webflow

  • Certain modals

With Tango Desktop, actions can be captured across anywhere on the screen, although the instructions and output will be less precise than when using the Extension.

If you are using a tool or site and have an issue capturing it, please let us know at [email protected].
